1. Ensure that “InTransit Express 2010” is installed on each machine you wish to use.
2. Download “InTransit Server Manager” to the PC you wish to host the Database.

3. Take note of this computers' (server) network name:
This can be found by going to
“Start->Run->cmd->Ok” and typing “echo %computername%”
(without the quotes but with the %)
4. Ensure any enabled fix buttons are clicked

5. Select the InTransit Database from the drop down
6. Click “Create a new SQL User” enter and remember the user name and password, this is for the user on the other machine(s)
7. If you had to click any of the fix buttons a machine restart is recommended but not usually essential (this is just in case)

8. Go to the other PC (client) and open InTransit
9. On the Main Window goto ”Tools->Options->Database Settings Tab->Change”, if you get a message box asking about a default database click “No”
10. In the Wizard’s Server Location Tab, select “Use a Remote Server” in the dropdown there should be an entry
“%computername%(from step 2)\SQLEXPRESS” use this one, if there isn’t you can manually type it and click “Next”
11. Select “Use SQL Server Authentication” and enter the username and password from step 5 and click next
12. Select “Use an existing Database” then the appropriate InTransit Database from Step 4.
13. Click “Next” then “Finish”
14. Enter Data on both the client pc and the server pc and enusre that the other can see it.
